Nurse-Led Model
At Nursing Direct, we understand that inviting care into your home is a deeply personal decision. Many of our clients and families place a high value on privacy, discretion and absolute confidentiality. Our service is delivered with the utmost respect for personal boundaries, routines and family life. Care is provided quietly, professionally and without unnecessary intrusion, allowing clients to continue living with dignity, independence and peace of mind.
As a nurse-led, CQC-registered provider, we combine refined, personalised care with strong clinical oversight, ensuring support is not only compassionate, but safe, well-governed and trusted. Every care arrangement is bespoke and handled with sensitivity, whether support is required following hospital treatment or as a longer-term live-in solution. From first conversation to ongoing care, discretion and confidentiality are integral to everything we do.


Our Clinical Hub
Our Clinical Hub is a team of experienced, employed nurses whoprovide continuous clinical oversight across every package of care. Their backgrounds include neurology, paediatrics, PICU, intensive care nursing, respiratory, palliative care, spinal care, community nursing, mental health, learning disabilities and rehabilitation.
The Clinical Hub is responsible for:

Our Team
Nursing Direct is supported by a skilled, structured office team who ensure every package of care issafe, coordinated and clinically governed. Our leadership and operational teams work together todeliver a reliable, responsive service for ICBs, Local Authorities, case managers and families.
LEADERSHIP & GOVERNANCE
Marc Stiff – Managing Director & Nominated Individual
Provides overarching governance and strategic oversight for all regulated activity. Ensures compliance with the Health and Social Care Act, supports the Registered Manager and oversees quality, safety and organisational performance.
Leanne Harris – Director of Nursing & Registered Manager
Responsible for the day-to-day running of the service. Leads homecare operations, clinical oversight, safeguarding, staff governance, quality assurance and compliance with CQC Fundamental Standards. Together, Marc and Leanne ensure Nursing Direct is safe, accountable and commissioner-ready.

CLINICAL MANAGEMENT TEAM (THE CLINICAL HUB)
Our Clinical Hub provides the core clinical governance that underpins all complex care packages. This includes:

Clinical Nurse Manager
Provides clinical leadership across all packages, oversees competencies conducts assessments, reviews care plans and supports safeguarding and governance processes. -
Senior Clinical Leads & Clinical Leads
Deliver specialist oversight, risk management, MDT coordination and escalation support. -
Clinical Administrative Support
Ensures seamless coordination of clinical documentation, reporting and communication.
The Clinical Hub ensures every package is clinically safe, responsive and delivered to a consistently high standard.

OUT-OF-HOURS SUPPORT
Kate Shrivell – OOH Manager
Provides emergency staffing support, escalation management and service continuity outside standard office hours with a fully staffed office team between 05:30 to 22:30, 365 days a year, with a emergency contact number outside of these main hours.
Works closely with clinical and coordination teams to maintain safety at all times.
