Nursing Times actually launched the campaign because they wanted to try and raise awareness about the pressures of mental health and the general wellbeing of the nurses after the pandemic. Of course, they are also trying to support nurses during the pandemic as well as much as possible. They have launched the next phase and this means that all of the right, relevant organisations are going to be called upon to support the aims.
They are also asking employers to try and back the aims of the campaign. They are trying to contact most of the NHS acute, mental health providers as well as the community in general. When they sign up to support this aim, employers are actually pledging to try and provide easy to access and formal mental health support to any staff who might have been affected. They are doing this for as long as it is required. They are also trying to foster a culture that is going to support people’s mental health as much as possible.
