Minister has Thanked Nurses on the International Nursing Day

Helen Whately who is the Minister for Social Care has come out to thank nurses in a letter that has since been released. This day is very important, mainly because it is actually the anniversary of the famous Florence Nightingale. The Minister, along with Deborah Sturdy have shared various messages of appreciation and they have also shown their support in letters, blog posts and various visits across England. If you happen to work in private nursing or if you like to offer bespoke care packages to social workers who have mental health issues, then this is of big significance. Of course, it is important to know that a lot of work is being done to try and give support to those who need it and now workers from across the world are doing what they can to try and provide help as well. That being said, the private nursing sector is now on its knees and it’s days like this where recognition is important to give. Nurses often find themselves working very long hour and at the end of the day it is of no surprise to see that people are struggling more than ever to get the care they need. That being said, if action is not taken now to try and make a change then it is never going to happen, and this could result in some huge consequences for the patients and the nurses who work in the business. Of course, only time will tell what the future holds but right now it would seem that people really do have to do more in order to make sure that they are giving and receiving the proper level of support.
