Health and Social Care are Calling to Change End-of-Life Care

The Homecare Association have said that they want to call on the government to try and change end of life care for the better. If you work in homecare or if you work in private nursing then you will know what a huge deal this is. Those who offer bespoke care packages and even those who work as social workers, supporting mental health will really understand what a major problem this can be. The End of Life Frontline Care for people have come out to say that they have published their open letter. They have spoken to the government and they have called upon them to address how older people should be cared for when they are in their final years. Steve Barclay who is the MP and the head of social care has come out to say that the letter has in fact been signed by the Homecare Association. They have also done what they can to try and enhance training for those who work in the front line. The Gold standards for the framework have come out to say that they are stressing about the frontline workforce. They give a lot of support to those who work on the frontline. They have said that they give help to those who need it and that they believe that people need to have a lot of support when it comes to their overall health. At the end of the day, more has to be done to make sure that people are given the help they need and that they are not neglected when at the end of their days. Who knows what the future holds but right now it seems that not enough is being done and that things need to step up a little bit to make things right.
