The 22-year-old is going to try and ride across over 35 countries and he is doing this in an attempt to try and support those who struggle with mental health issues. Henry has lost three friends to suicide and he has also gone through his own mental health struggles. He is aiming to raise £35,000 for the Movember charity and this helps to raise awareness for physical and mental health issues. This includes testicular cancer, prostate cancer and even suicide prevention.
He has been planning this journey for well over 8 months and he can’t think of anything better than trying to raise money for this great charity. He also believes that he wants to help those who ride motorcycles to try and take part as well. He said that he struggled with his mental health issues in University.
He has a Ducati Scrambler Desert Sled bike and this was loaned to him by the Ducati BikeShed bike club in Shoreditch.
Those who work in homecare jobs and carer jobs will more than understand how difficult it can be with the constant war on mental health and this is a great movement by such a young man. The challenge is going to take around 13 months to complete and if he wants to break the record then he will have to be back home by Friday the 10th of May. He says that he has ridden every single day for years and that he loves a challenge. He believes that motorcycles have helped him out a lot with his own mental health, and he wants to support the charity
