For Rapid Response Cases
Decisions for referrals can be made within 3 hours of receiving all the requested information to inform the care provision.
Extra - Package of Care Provision
Decision for referral can be made within 2 working days to ensure that there is relevant and adequate skill mix.
Respite / Short Break Packages / PBS Implementation / Adjustments to Service Provision
Decision for referral can be made on a rapid response basis, ideally within 3 hours - 2 working days.
COVID-19 Response Cases
Decisions for referrals can be made within 3 hours of receiving all the requested information to inform the care provision.
Nursing Direct will email the referrer with a decision to accept or decline to on-board care services. Where the decision is to decline, recommendations will be sent to you with rationale for the decision.
