Nursing Direct, sister company to Nursdoc, are currently recruiting experienced Care Support Workers to join our team supporting individuals with complex care needs in Leicester and the surrounding areas.
We are looking for passionate, skilled professionals who can deliver high-quality, person-centred care in home and supported living environments. This role is ideal for someone with a background in mental health or complex behaviours. PMVA training is preferred.
Key responsibilities:
- Providing consistent emotional and physical support in a safe, supportive environment
- Monitoring and responding to individuals' needs and behaviour
- Promoting independence, dignity, and well-being
- Following care plans, risk assessments, and behaviour support strategies
- Adhering to infection control and safeguarding procedures
Essential requirements:
- Minimum 6 months of UK care experience in a similar role
- Previous experience in Complex Care and Home Care.
- Valid Enhanced DBS (within a year or on the update service)
- Compassionate, reliable, and confident in managing challenging situations
Preferred requirements:
- PMVA or equivalent behaviour management training
