Description
We are looking for Learning Disability Nurses and Mental Health Nurses who would be required to work with a young person in the Berkshire area.

The Role

We are currently seeking Learning Disability Nurses and Mental Health Nurses to support a young male in his daily care and inclusion of social activities.

This role will be working with a young person who has Autism, Global Development Delay, is non-verbal and presents with challenging behaviour. You will be supporting this service user in their own homes and the community, whilst promoting independence and improving their quality of life.

Specifics
Our Client Requires;
  • Support with all aspects of everyday life in order to maximize their independence and personal ability as much as possible
  • Engaging and socialising to ensure they are comfortable and happy
  • Engaging in a variety of activities that the client needs to keep stimulated and calm
  • Personal care support

What we need from you;
  • At least 1 years’ experience supporting patients with moderate to severe challenging behaviour
  • PMVA training is ideal but not necessary as there is training available
  • A patient and resilient nature
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and in difficult situations

  • Shift times are to be confirmed. We are currently putting together a team for this package, therefore hours can be discussed.
