The new Care Worker Charity is completely committed to giving donations of up to £500 as well. The new campaign is encouraging companies who work across the social care sector to see if they can give an annual donation and they also want to help those who experience any kind of financial hardship. If you sign up to be a founding member then it is highly encouraged that you do your bit and spread the word as much as possible.

Of course, the charity is experiencing a very high demand for their services and they have been since the year 2020. They have also made 6,000 grants to try and help those who may be experiencing some kind of crisis. The Chief Executive of the company has come out to say that they are grateful for the company and that they are going to do everything they can to spread the word and to make sure that the charity is able to support those who need it the most. This year, it looks like there is a big demand for the crisis grant and at the end of the day things seem to be rising sharply. They look to be rising as much as they did at the start of the pandemic and this is not good to say the least. People do not want others to be forced into debt but it doesn’t look like this is going to be managed if things don’t change.

There are social workers who are trying to put together bespoke care packages but are struggling because they are simply not able to fill the staff roles very well. The report does show that the total number of filled posts fell by well over 50,000 and this is especially shocking when you compare it to the previous year. Care chiefs have since warned that the report is another signal that the social care system is on its knees and that more has to be done to try and make sure that people are getting the support that they need.

Vic Rayner who is the chief executive of the National Care Forum has said that they need the government to try and acknowledge the huge challenges that are being faced and this is especially the case when you look at the social care workforce. The government have said that they need to try and face any challenges head-on and that they need to try and plan out as much as possible to ensure that the workforce is not being overwhelmed. Right now, they are seeing the highest ttal vacancy rate when you look at the adult care sector and this is the general result of the workforce being dire and the underfunding that is currently happening. The government have to now try and prioritise doing whatever they can to improve pay and they also want to try and improve the strategic workforce plan where possible. If this is not done then it could mean that there are other major disasters yet to come.
