Nursing Direct is seeking compassionate, dedicated, and experienced Healthcare Assistants (HCAs) to support individuals with complex care needs in Bognor Regis and the surrounding areas of Sussex.

As a Complex Carer, you will provide vital support to clients living with a range of complex conditions, including neurological disorders, spinal injuries, acquired brain injuries, learning disabilities, and long-term health conditions. You will work closely with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, personalised care in both community and home settings.
We are looking for candidates who have:
- Proven experience in delivering care to individuals with complex needs.
- Training or hands-on experience in personal care tasks, including assisting with daily routines, nutrition, and hygiene.
- A compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature, with a genuine desire to make a positive difference in people’s lives.
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team, contributing to care plans and positive behaviour support strategies.
Key responsibilities:
- Assisting with personal care, such as feeding, bathing, and dressing.
- Supporting daily routines and activities.
- Managing challenging behaviours calmly and professionally.
- Supporting the administration of medication (where applicable).
- Promoting the social, emotional, and developmental well-being of clients.
