- Description
- Nursing Direct Healthcare are looking to recruit a support worker on a part-time or full-time basis to assist an adolescent in Wimbledon, with moderate autism and challenging behavior. 
 - Yearly salary: (part-time to full-time) £20,000 - 24,000 PA 
 What we need from you- At least 1 years experience supporting clients/patients with moderate / severe challenging behavior
- MAPA or PMVA training - must have certificate in date
- A patient and resilient nature
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and in difficult situations
 
 About the client- The patient, is a tall young male who has moderate autism and challenging behavior which effects his everyday quality of life
- He is non verbal and finds it difficult to express himself
- He enjoys a variety of activities
 
 
 The shifts- We can offer, 2 - 4 10hr shifts a week to suit your availability and preference
- You can rotate with other support workers in order to have a variety of days off, or have set in stone days
- You will be working with one other support worker as the client requires 2:1 care
 
 
 Pay- Standard PAYE day rate is £12 - 13ph
- Standard LTD Company day rate is £13 - 14ph
- Weekend shifts are paid at an enhanced rate
 
 
 The role- To support our client with all aspects of everyday life in order to maximize his independence and personal ability as much as possible
- Engage and socialize with out client to assure he is comfortable and happy
- Engage in a variety of activities that the client needs to keep calm and stimulated
- Offer personal support
