- Nursing Direct have a new homecare package for a young male client who has been diagnosed with the following :
- Non-verbal
- Alpha thalassaemia X –linked intellectual disability (rare genetic disorder which affects his body's operating system)
- Significant learning difficulties, mild dysmorphism, hypotonia and microcephaly.
- Unsafe swallow and gastrostomy tube in situ - history of sensory aversive behaviours. Refuses oral intake.
- Mixed central and obstructive sleep apnoea - nocturnal BiPAP; under Respiratory Team at Evelina Children's Hospital.
We are looking for a Health care assistant to support the client and experience / trained with the following :
- Carer needs to be able to manage a wheelchair in the community and to be able to adapt to clients method of communication to decipher his needs.
- Can speak Vietnamese

Requirements for this role:
- MINIMUM of 3 months UK Healthcare experience
- MUST be hardworking and adaptable by responding quickly to changes
- MUST be passionate about high quality individual and teamwork
- MUST have a current DBS (inside a year or on the update service)
- MUST speak Vietnamese
