During her trip- she spoke with quite a few care workers and she discussed the importance of having a timed homecare visit and how this can have a huge impact on the well-being of those who are involved. The Right at Home staff told the prime minister all about their work and they try endlessly to make the care visits to their own homes and that these visits don’t last any less than an hour. Theresa May has also stated that being a carer certainly comes with its challenges.
She then went on to say that it was incredibly heart-warning to listen to how passionate and how devoted these people are. She also went on to say that what these people do makes a huge difference to a number of lives.
Ken Deary who is the chief executive has stated that he is keen to face some of the issues regarding adult and social care and he believes that the prime minster can help with this.
