Now, 67 years later, he is one of the highest graded judo artist and he even has a ninth Dan belt as well. This is a very prestigious black belt and he has already taught martial arts to over three different generations. He even loves taking down some of the younger opponents as well. He believes that there is no such thing as retirement and he also believes that the credit to having a long life is staying active. He is a father of five and he is already one of the most highly-sought after judo teachers in the area.
Those who work in homecare jobs or even those who live in care will know how difficult it can be for the older generation to get out of the house but Jack believes that there is plenty for the older generation to get involved in. He believes that it is never too late to find enjoyment in something. He looked after his body well when he was young and now he believes that it is looking after him now in return.
When he was younger, he never once thought that he would be able to do something like this at his age. He thought he would be in a wheelchair but he isn’t and that is because he still believes that he has a lot of things to do and a lot of things to achieve in his life. This is a remarkable story to say the least and we should all give the elderly the help they need to be like Jack.
